(Brooklyn-WABC, August 16, 2006) - Three NYPD officers are expected to turn themselves in today. They're accused of breaking into a massage parlor in Brooklyn.

These are people who we count on and expect to serve us, but now these three people are being charged with corruption.

The allegations are that these three members of the NYPD vice squad broke into a Brooklyn massage parlor back in April, in order to hide evidence that could have potentially cleared prostitution suspects.

The three charged are Lt. Steven Wang, Sgt. Kwun So and Officer Yuseff Hamm of Brooklyn South's vice squad. They are expected to turn themselves in later today on charges of burglary and corruption.

Investigators say they believe the three wanted to disassemble security camera equipment that held evidence that may include seven prostitution suspects just days before.

Ironically, Wang is the Integrity Control Officer, his job is to keep other members of the unit honest. Investigators also suggest the lieutenant and sergeant also used some seized electronics on other raids or for personal use, like a seized plasma TV, one which Wang allegedly set up in his office.
